Great staff, welcoming atmosphere, good food.

Good property and location - great that had 24 hour check-in. A good breakfast with lots of choice available. The decor was lovely and comfy seats throughout the bar and restaurant.

First hotel I’ve stayed in years that didn’t have a hairdryer in the room. The room was very warm but there was a fan in the room which did help a bit.

Disapointing stay at Arendal Herregaard resort

The indoor pool is awesome.Breakfast is generous although only until 9.30 am on weekdays.

The main building, where we stayed,is old and shows it. Access to the 2nd floor with heavy suitcases is with a creaky elevator installed for disabled guests.It gets the job done but not ideal.The room is,dark and gloomy. We booked a roo. With a balcony,luckily,but that was the only source of natural light to the room. They have a restaurant for dinner but you need to prebook it on the same day otherwise no food for you. Service staff was cold and indifferent.

Pristine boutique hotel

Wonderful quiet resort. Parking was extremely easy and free. The room was spacious and had a balcony. Comfy bed! Great three course dinner and breakfast buffet.

You can hear a lot during the night if you have neighbors above you. I thought the location would be closer to the water.

Sehr gut gelegenes und schönes Hotel. Personal war wirklich sehr nett. Frühstück war super. Restaurant war geschmacklich sehr gut aber auch entsprechend teuer das Verhältnis von Preis und Leistung passt aber. Würde dieses Hotel immer wieder buchen.

Poor service not really friendly and customers centered

The kitchen didn’t work and no kitchen appliances as pan or pot available for an apt and no baby hair available in the apt as I requested prior our stay but they offered us a lunch at the restaurant which is not enough for the money spent for two nights.

Nice stay with pools with a view of the sea.

The pools, decks, and lounges were nice. The dinner we bought was delicious; the breakfast was fantastic.

The room we booked was small, two people couldn’t pass; low mirror and hooks instead of a wardrobe. The sauna and tubs could have been warmer.

Ein schönes Haus, liebevoll eingerichtet, das Zimmer im älteren Stil. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, netter Service im Restaurantbereich.

Ich fühlte mich nicht recht willkommen, beim Check in musste ich 3x klingeln.bis jemand reagierte, obwohl wir Sichtkontakt hatten und nicht viel los war im Haus. Gleiches beim Check out, keine Frage, ob alles iO. war. Die E-Mails werden nur auf Norwegisch versandt. Der Pool war nicht nutzbar, hatte ein Leck. Darauf wurde nicht hingewiesen im Voraus. Es gab zwar einen beheizten Außenpool, den wir aber nicht nutzen wollten, weil wir durchgefroren waren. Der Etagenlift ist abenteuerlich, leider gab es keine Erklärung zur Nutzung. Wäre der Service rundum besser, hätten wir uns wohl gefühlt.

„Nettes Hotel für die Durchreise , für längere Aufenthalt keine 4 Sterne wert

Frühstück war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Das Ambiente im Essbereich und an der Lobby war nett. Lage nahe an einem sehr schönen Strand. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Bett war für meine Bedürfnisse viel zu weich. Im Zimmer gab es Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher aber keine Kapseln und keinen Tee. Der viel beworbene Spa Bereich besteht aus einem Pool und einer nicht funktionierenden Sauna bzw. Dampfbad. Es wäre hilfreich wenn Regenschirme zum Verleih angeboten würden.

„Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Der Aufenthalt in Herregard war rundum sehr angenehm. Wir haben uns außergewöhnlich wohl gefühlt.

Da fällt uns wenig bis garnichts ein. Dass die Saunatür nicht richtig schloss und die Temperatur in der Sauna eher niedrig war wäre unangebrachte Rumkrittelei bei dem hervorragenden Gesamtservice.
